The One-Sentence Privacy Policy

"Decided runs entirely on your local device. We have no database, we do not read your decisions, and we sell nothing to advertisers. Your life is yours."

1. Local Storage Architecture

By design, Decided operates using your browser's localStorage. This means that all of your journals, answers, and decisions are saved physically on the device you are currently using.

We do not transmit your journal entries to a centralized database. If you clear your browser cache, your decisions will be permanently deleted. We cannot recover them for you because we never had them in the first place.

2. Third-Party AI Services

To generate frameworks and summaries, we anonymously pass the text of your decision through a third-party Language Model API (such as OpenAI). We do not attach your name, email, or IP address to these requests. The AI provider is legally prohibited from training their models on this API data.

3. Not Medical Advice

Decided is a structural thinking tool, not a medical device or a substitute for professional therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or a licensed professional in your area. Decided provides frameworks for organization, not psychological diagnosis.
